Segmento Melbourne Italian Festa - 18 April 2021

We danced, ate, drank and soaked up all things Italian at the Melbourne Italian Festa event and it was perfect weather to enjoy the full day at Lygon Street, Carlton, Melbourne. An annual event that and it was an honour to be part of the festa with a demonstration of my version of tiramisu from my cookbook.

The great atmosphere, vibe and festa feels were evident as you witnessed people enjoying throughout the day. It was great to see the support of a local tradition come back. It’s been a long while since we could celebrate any event and we were all so grateful it was able to go ahead safely in our Covid environment.

Thank you all to the gorgeous people who were part of my Tiramisu demonstration. I loved sharing a family favourite dessert, a huge crowd attended and even received a few free cookbook giveaways. My class followed by a live interview with Wendy Hargreaves chatting about Lygon St and Melbourne’s Italian heart. Thank you to Melbourne Italian Festa, Segmento Magazine and Italian Chamber of Commerce for a brilliant event, we can’t wait for the next one!
